More information
The elegant Celeste Verdejo from the house of Miguel Torres flows into the glass with bright light yellow. The first nose of Celeste Verdejo reveals notes of honeysuckle, acacia and orange blossom. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Miguel Torres Celeste Verdejo presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Celeste Verdejo flatters the palate with a velvety feeling, without lacking juicy liveliness. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Castilla y León, more precisely from Rueda DO, finally thrills with beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of the Miguel Torres Celeste Verdejo
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Verdejo. For this exceptionally balanced single-varietal wine from Miguel Torres, only immaculate grapes were brought in. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a few months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
