The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosé from the pen of Zaccagnini from Abruzzo offers a brilliant, light red color in the glass. The nose of this Zaccagnini rosé wine reveals all kinds of quinces, apples, mangoes, papayas and Gallia melon.
The Zaccagnini Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosé is wonderfully dry for wine lovers. This rosé wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a wine in the upper price range. The texture of this light-footed rosé wine is wonderfully light on the palate. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosé is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, there are hints of quince and physalis.
Vinification of the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosé from Zaccagnini
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Montepulciano. Only the best grapes were harvested for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Zaccagnini. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosé can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Once the wine is finished, the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosé is carefully harmonized.
