The Château Haut-Brion 1er Cru Classé Pessac-Léognan from the Bordeaux wine-growing region appears in the glass in bright purple. Tilting the glass slightly, a transition of color towards brick red is visible at the edges. The first nose of Château Haut-Brion 1er Cru Classé Pessac-Léognan shows of blackberries, blueberries and mulberries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by vanilla, black tea and cocoa bean.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Frenchman enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. Balanced and multifaceted, this fleshy and silky red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally convinces with beautiful reverberation.

 

The balanced Château Haut-Brion 1er Cru Classé Pessac-Léognan from France is a cuvée, made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then the fermentation takes place in the controlled temperature. The fermentation is followed by aging .

 

This French red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, ossobuco or veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes.
