More information about Chardonnay 1300 Tupungato Mendoza 2021 - Andeluna Cellars

In the glass, the Chardonnay 1300 Tupungato Mendoza from Andeluna Cellars offers a dense golden yellow color. This single-varietal Argentinian wine flatters the glass with wonderfully youthful notes of apple, peach, pear and mirabelle plum. There are also hints of other fruits.

This Argentinian wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with just 1.6 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Argentinian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. This light and dense white wine is full-bodied and multi-faceted on the palate. The Chardonnay 1300 Tupungato Mendoza presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its concise fruit acidity. On the finish, this white wine from the Mendoza wine-growing region finally impresses with good length. Once again, there are hints of apricot and banana. In the finish, mineral notes from the weathered rock-dominated soils are added.

Vinification of the Andeluna Cellars Chardonnay 1300 Tupungato Mendoza

The basis for the powerful Chardonnay 1300 Tupungato Mendoza from Argentina is grapes from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Mendoza. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of weathered rock. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.

Wine pairing recommendation for Andeluna Cellars Chardonnay 1300 Tupungato Mendoza

This white wine from Argentina is best enjoyed chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is the perfect accompaniment to spaghetti with yoghurt-mint pesto, fruity endive salad or asparagus salad with quinoa.
