The elegant Chardonnay Bourgogne from Domaine Moillard shines in the glass with bright golden yellow. In the glass, this white wine from Domaine Moillard shows aromas of acacia and peaches, complemented by vanilla and almond. On the palate, Domaine Moillard's Chardonnay Bourgogne opens pleasantly aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Balanced and multifaceted, this light and melting white wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this youthful wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, hints of acacia and peach appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by slate and limestone join in.
Vinification of the Chardonnay Bourgogne from Domaine Moillard
This balanced white wine from France is made from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Burgundy. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and slate. The grapes for this white wine from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested particularly quickly and preferably in the morning to preserve their freshness. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the elegant Chardonnay Bourgogne is aged for several months in French oak barrels.
Food recommendation for Domaine Moillard Chardonnay Bourgogne
