With the Weingut Paul Achs Chardonnay from Burgenland comes a first-class white wine in the swirled glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully brilliant, golden yellow color. The first nose of the Chardonnay from Burgenland presents of plums, pears and apples. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging like even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Chardonnay from the Burgenland of Weingut Paul Achs is a good choice for all connoisseurs who like it dry. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, as one would naturally expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the palate, the texture of this light-bodied white wine is wonderfully crisp and velvety. Finally, the finish of this white wine from the Burgenland wine-growing region, which is capable of aging, delights with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by clay and black earth.
Vinification of the Winery Paul Achs Chardonnay from Burgenland
The elegant Chardonnay from the Burgenland region of Austria is a single varietal wine, vinified from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgenland. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sand, gravel, volcanic rock and black earth. After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Chardonnay from Burgenland can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
