Chardonnay Estate Wine 2018 - Paul Cluver
Paul Cluver's Chardonnay Estate Wine has a clean, bright colour with green-yellow highlights.
In the nose there are hints of butter toast, brioche, complemented by a lively citrus aroma of tangerine and orange blossom. A hint of vanilla pods and roasted almond flakes round off the fragrance profile.
The characteristics of the bouquet also continue on the palate, where they are balanced by a fine, fresh and natural acidity. The latter gives the wine a compact body, balance and concentration. In the finish it is stimulating and well-balanced, elegant and extremely long with a little bit of minerality.
Food recommendation for the Chardonnay of Paul Cluver
Drink it with mussel soup, creamy pasta dishes, fish (salmon), poultry, game and pork. Solo is also a wonderful pleasure.
Vinification for the Chardonnay Estate Wine by Paul Cluver
The fermentation of the wine is carried out in different barriques before a part of the wine remains on the yeast and the other part (40%) undergoes a malolactic fermentation. Subsequently, both games were combined. Estate Wine is a South African quality label that guarantees that the wine has been grown and produced on a registered winery.
