On the palate, the Chardonnay Selection from Salzl Seewinkelhof opens pleasantly aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Chardonnay Selection presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Burgenland, more precisely from Lake Neusiedl, finally thrills with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and sand.
Vinification of the Salzl Seewinkelhof Chardonnay Selection
This balanced white wine from Austria is made from the Chardonnay grape variety. In Burgenland, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and sand. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully milled. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
