The elegant Chardonnay from the winery Toni Hartl comes with bright golden yellow in the glass. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World shows wonderfully expressive aromas of peach and ripe apple, rounded off by further fruity nuances contributed by the barrel aging.
The Chardonnay from Weingut Toni Hartl is ideal for all wine connoisseurs who like as little sweetness in the wine as possible. At the same time, however, it never appears meager or brittle, as one would naturally expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy texture. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Chardonnay reveals itself to be exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of ripe apple and peach appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone and slate-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Winery Toni Hartl Chardonnay
This balanced white wine from Austria is organically vinified from the Chardonnay grape variety. In Lower Austria, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and slate. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Chardonnay are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of punishing and hardly selective full harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully milled. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Chardonnay can further harmonize on the fine lees for 8 months.
Food recommendation for the Chardonnay from Weingut Toni Hartl
