More information
The nose of the Château de Beaucastel AOC Châteauneuf du Pape by Perrin & Fils is powerful and very graceful at the same time. In the aroma, red fruits, blackcurrants, blackberries and spices such as thyme and lavender can be smelled. The red wine also makes an impression with its deep, almost black color.
The round bouquet is full of elegance and richness. On the palate, cherries, figs and again black currants, as well as stewed fruits, rounded off with a wonderful acidity can be tasted. The present tannins are nevertheless very delicate. Overall, a balanced, well-structured and well-balanced red wine with tremendous aging potential that flows into a long-lasting finish.
The Château de Beaucastel is made from the following grape varieties: Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault.
Food recommendation for the Château de Beaucastel
The Château de Beaucastel harmonizes especially well with dark meat dishes, strong game dishes or mushroom dishes.
