The Château du Calvaire is located in Saint-Etienne-de Lisse, not far from the town and wine region of Saint-Émilion, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Between centuries-old traditions and the innovations of modernity, the Dumas family cultivates the Bordeaux typical grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot on limestone soils on a total of 30 hectares, 20 of which in Saint Etienne de Lisse and 10 in Saint Christophe des Bardes.
