The deep ruby red of Château Moulin Rouge Cru Bourgeois Haut-Médoc AOC from Château Moulin Rouge is streaked with cherry-red highlights. Its lush, powerful and inviting bouquet combines aromas of ripe blackberries, red and black currants and strawberries with cherry liqueur and delicate spicy notes. The powerful, juicy, structured palate is based on a beautiful tannin structure surrounded by an oppulent, aromatically concentrated fruit. This bourgeois blends perfectly with forest mushrooms, roasted quails, small game, lamb with herbs and, in more mature vintages, with braised lamb, game ragouts and spicy cheeses such as cantal and laguiole.
