More information about Château Grenouilles Grand Cru - La Chablisienne

With La Chablisienne Château Grenouilles Grand Cru comes a first-class white wine in the wine glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully bright golden yellow color. In the middle, the tone changes to a beautiful golden yellow color. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. The first nose of Château Grenouilles Grand Cru reveals nuances of jasmine, acacia and apricot. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.

The La Chablisienne Château Grenouilles Grand Cru impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would naturally expect in a wine icon wine segment, this Frenchman naturally enraptures with the finest balance for all its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by a tremendously buttery, creamy, melty, light and crisp texture. Finally, the finish of this well-maturing white wine from the Burgundy wine region, more specifically from Chablis & Grand Auxerrois, impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by limestone and marl.

Vinification of La Chablisienne Château Grenouilles Grand Cru

This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Chardonnay. Only impeccable grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from La Chablisienne. In Burgundy, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and marl. Due to the mitigating influence of the nearbyRiver, the grapes ripen more slowly and develop more aromatic partiality. Without question, Château Grenouilles Grand Cru is also defined by more than just the Chablis & Grand Auxerrois soil. This Frenchman can literally be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an extraordinarily youthful manner. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Château Grenouilles Grand Cru are harvested exclusively by hand without the aid of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Château Grenouilles Grand Cru is aged for another 20 months in French oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Château Grenouilles Grand Cru from La Chablisienne
