More information
The Chateau Les Bories Bordeaux from the pen of GAEC Geneste Freres from Bordeaux offers a bright purple color in the swirled glass. This French cuvée flatters in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of black cherries, black currants, plums and blueberries. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
On the palate, the Chateau Les Bories Bordeaux from GAEC Geneste Freres starts out wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. Some wines are dry on the label, others really are. This red wine belongs to the second group, as it was vinified with just 0.4 grams of residual sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky texture. Due to its concise fruit acid, the Chateau Les Bories Bordeaux is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of blueberry and mulberry show.
Vinification of the Chateau Les Bories Bordeaux by GAEC Geneste Freres
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced cuvée Chateau Les Bories Bordeaux by GAEC Geneste Freres are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately sent to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles. Once the wine is finished, the Chateau Les Bories Bordeaux is carefully harmonized.
