Red wine dry France Bordeaux (FR) Saint-Estèphe (FR)
The château is one of the oldest in the Médoc and was founded in 1662. Today, Anne Le Naour manages the winery as technical director and is advised by oenologist Hubert de Bouärd. Similar to Peter's, the subsoil is interspersed with blue clay, which gets its colour from the iron content and is also famous for its excellent drainage. The first wine is aged in wood for between 18 and 24 months. But only a tender 40% is renewed every year. Thus Meyney is fully on the elegance track.
