Chateau Ste. Michelle - Tradition and innovation
With a history which already began in 1912, Chateau Ste. Michelle belongs today to the biggest, best known and most popular wineries and this not only in Washington State, but in the whole USA.
Chateau Ste. Michelle - Success with premium standards
In 1967 the modern history of Chateau Ste. Michelle begins. Under the direction of the legendary oenologist Andre Tchelistcheff, a wine line with premium standards was created, which was the first and at the same time groundbreaking for winegrowing in this state. As usual with great top producers, the wine lines are pyramid-shaped and made up of a wealth of grape varieties.
- Barbera
- Cabernet Franc
- Cabernet Sauvignon
- Chardonnay
- Chenin Blanc
- and seventeen others
At the top you find the Impetus, followed by the Artist Series, Ethos Reserve, Single Vineyards, Indian Wells and Columbia Valley. There are also joint ventures such as Eroica (with Ernst Loosen) and Col Solare (with Antinori), the Limited Release series and the Domaine Ste. Michelle sparkling wines.
