Vinification of the Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc
The starting point for Vieux Télégraphe's premium and wonderfully balanced Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc cuvée is Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne grapes. Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is an Old World wine through and through, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The grapes for this white wine from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes quickly enter the press house. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc can continue to harmonize for 9 months on the fine lees....
