With the Domaine Gayda Chemin de Moscou comes a first-class organic red wine in the swirled glass. In this, it reveals a wonderfully dense, light red color. With a bit of side lay, the red wine glass reveals a charming garnet red hue at the rims. Giving it some air in the wine glass by swirling, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which is evident in strong church windows at the rim of the glass. In the glass, this red wine from Domaine Gayda offers aromas of violets, lilacs, blackberries, blueberries and mulberries, complemented by garrigue, oriental spices and black tea. The Domaine Gayda Chemin de Moscou presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the top wine range. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully velvety. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Chemin de Moscou flatters the palate with a velvety feel, without lacking juicy liveliness at the same time. On the finish, this mature wine from the Languedoc wine region finally delights with beautiful length. Once again, hints of blackberry and blueberry show through.
Vinification of the Domaine Gayda Chemin de Moscou
This powerful red wine from France is organically vinified from Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah grapes. Chemin de Moscou is an Old World wine through and through, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in French oak barrels.
