The basis for this powerful Chianti Classico from Tuscany are grapes from the Canaiolo and Sangiovese grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Chianti Classico is aged for a few months in oak barrels.
