The powerful Chianti Classico Riserva from Tuscany is made from grapes of the Sangiovese variety. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand at optimum ripeness. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in concrete and small wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the powerful Chianti Classico Riserva is matured for 18 months in French oak barrels.
