More information
The Chiaretto Bardolino from the Veneto wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in a brilliantly shimmering strawberry pink. Poured into a white wine glass, this rosé wine from the Old World reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of damson, plum, morello cherry and black cherry, rounded off with vanilla, dark chocolate and gingerbread spice.
On the palate, the Chiaretto Bardolino from Cavalchina starts off pleasantly dry, full-bodied and aromatic. This crisp rosé wine is light-footed and multi-faceted on the palate. The finish of this youthful rosé wine from the Veneto wine-growing region, more precisely from Bardolino DOC, is convincing with a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the marl and limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Cavalchina Chiaretto Bardolino
The elegant Chiaretto Bardolino from Italy is a cuvée made from the Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grape varieties. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay, limestone and marl soils in Veneto. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Chiaretto Bardolino can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
