John Graham not only makes great port wines, which enjoy international fame, but since the acquisition of the top location Quinta da Gricha in the Douro Valley, in 1999 he also produces excellent wines under the name Churchill Estate. The first wines came onto the market in 2004, with an astonishing result. The wines are characterized by the graceful elegance of the Churchill house, influenced by the unique terroir of the Quinta da Gricha vineyard and the progress of viticulture in the Douro valley. Today, the reputation is due not only to the excellent port wines but also to the high quality Douro wines with great personality, which are regularly awarded international awards.
