The Anselmann Classic Pinot Gris is a first-class white wine. It offers a wonderfully bright, copper-golden color. This single-varietal German wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of mirabelle plum, pear, apple and peach in the glass. There are also hints of nutty notes.
The Classic Pinot Gris can justifiably be described as particularly fruity and velvety, as it has been vinified with a pleasantly sweet taste profile. This crisp and light white wine is balanced and complex on the palate. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, Classic Pinot Gris is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this white wine from the Palatinate wine-growing region impresses with its good length. There are again hints of ripe apple and passion fruit.
Vinification of the Classic Pinot Gris from Anselmann
The basis for the balanced Classic Pinot Gris from Germany are grapes from the Pinot Gris grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
