Vinification of Bodegas San Alejandro Clos Baltasar Garnacha
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Garnacha. Only flawless grapes were used for this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Bodegas San Alejandro. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on slate soils in Aragon. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in concrete and large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the powerful Clos Baltasar Garnacha is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
