The Colección Vivanco 4 Varietales is an excellent red wine cuvée full of elegance and complexity and is vinified from the grape varieties Tempranillo (70%), Graciano (15%), Garnacha Tinta (10%) and Mazuelo (5%).
In the glass, this wine presents a wonderfully strong garnet red. The bouquet seduces with a powerful and complex aroma with notes of ripe red and dark berries, floral elements, caramel tones, chocolate and vanilla from the well-integrated wood. On the palate this wine is fresh and lively, the tannins are soft and the long elegant finish shows again ripe berry flavors.
The bottle was modeled after an original 18th century wine bottle on display at the Vivanco Museum of Wine Culture.
Vinification of the Colección Vivanco 4 Varietales
After the grapes are carefully hand-picked in the Rioja wine region of Spain, they are carefully selected, destemmed and pressed in the winery. The temperature-controlled maceration of this wine takes place in barriques. Subsequently, this red wine is aged for a total of 24 months in French oak barrels.
Food recommendation for the Colección 4 Varietales Vivanco
This dry red wine from Spain is perfect with filet or roast beef with bittersweet sauce, but can also be combined with other dishes with red meats. We recommend decanting this wine at least one hour before serving.
