The powerful Colheita Seleccionada Tinto from Quinta do Paral shimmers into the glass with a dense purple color. At the edges, this Portuguese red also shows a transition into garnet red. Vinification of the Quinta do Paral Colheita Seleccionada Tinto

This powerful red wine from Portugal is vinified from the grape varieties Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Touriga Nacional. Colheita Seleccionada Tinto is an Old World wine through and through, as this Portuguese exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The maturation of the grapes for this wine made from Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Touriga Nacional is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Alentejo, the grapes thrive in a warm climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly well ripened grapes and a rather high must weight. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in French oak barrels. Once the wine is finished, the Colheita Seleccionada Tinto is carefully dealcoholized.
