More information about Condrieu La Galopine AOC - Delas Frères

The powerful Condrieu La Galopine from Delas Frères glides into the glass with a dense golden yellow color. After the first swirl, this white wine reveals a high viscosity, which is evident in distinct church windows at the edge of the glass. This varietal French wine reveals wonderfully complex notes of rose, lavender, honeysuckle and violet in the glass. These are joined by hints of garrigue, lovage and green bell bell pepper.

The Delas Frères Condrieu La Galopine presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. This creamy white wine is full-bodied and multi-layered on the palate. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Condrieu La Galopine reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region Rhône Valley finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by slate and limestone.

Vinification of the Delas Frères Condrieu La Galopine

The basis for the powerful Condrieu La Galopine from Rhône Valley are grapes from the grape variety Viognier. In Rhône Valley, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and slate. Condrieu La Galopine is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The fact that the Viognier grapes thrive under the influence of a warm climate also has an influence on the ripening of the grapes that cannot be dismissed. This manifests itself, among other things, in particularly well ripened grapes and rather high alcohol content in the wine. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation .
