More information
With a little sideways tilt, the red wine glass reveals a charming garnet-red hue at the rims. This Italian cuvée presents wonderfully complex notes of plums, morello cherries, black cherries and damsons in the glass. There are also hints of gingerbread spice, oriental spices and dark chocolate.
This velvety red wine is full-bodied and multi-faceted on the palate. The Corte Brá Amarone della Valpolicella is impressively fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its pronounced fruit acidity. On the finish, this red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region finally delights with its beautiful length. There are again hints of black cherry and morello cherry. In the finish, mineral notes from the clay and limestone-dominated soils are added.
Vinification of the Corte Brá Amarone della Valpolicella from Sartori di Verona
The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully powerful Corte Brá Amarone della Valpolicella cuvée from Sartori di Verona is Corvina, Corvinone, Oseleta and Rondinella grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into limestone and clay soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
