Vinification of the Masi Agricola Costasera Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 3 l Jeroboam
The powerful Costasera Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 3 l Jeroboam from Italy is a cuvée made from the Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grape varieties. Of course, the Costasera Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 3 l Jeroboam is also characterized by more than just the Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG base. This Italian can be described as an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, presenting itself in an extraordinarily impressive way. The development of the grapes for this wine from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella is influenced to a very large extent by the climate of the growing region. In Veneto, the grapes thrive in a warm climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly well-ripened grapes and a rather high must weight. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Once it has finished, the Costasera Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 3 l Jeroboam can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 36 months.
