More information about Côte de Baleau St Emilion Grand Cru Classé - Château Côte de Baleau

The barrel-aged Côte de Baleau St Emilion Grand Cru Classé from the Bordeaux wine-growing region appears in the glass in dense purple. The nose of this red wine from Bordeaux seduces with hints of blackberry, blueberry, mulberry and blackcurrant. If we trace the aromatics further, Mediterranean herbs, garrigue and green peppers come in, enhanced by the oak influence.

This red from Château Côte de Baleau is perfect for all wine lovers who like it dry. However, it is never sparse or brittle, but round and supple. On the tongue, this punchy red wine is characterized by an immensely silky texture. The finale of this red wine with good aging potential from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux, more precisely from Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, finally impresses with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by sand and clay.

Vinification of the Côte de Baleau St Emilion Grand Cru Classé by Château Côte de Baleau

This powerful red wine from France is made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Bordeaux. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sand and limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Côte de Baleau St Emilion Grand Cru Classé is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
