More information
This French cuvée reveals wonderfully expressive notes of guava, mango, star fruit and physalis in the glass. In addition, there are hints of other fruits.
This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine beyond the supermarket shelves, this Frenchman naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy and dense texture. The final of this white wine from the Bergerac wine-growing region, more precisely from Bergerac, which is capable of aging, finally convinces with a good reverberation.
Vinification of the Bergerac Moelleux from Château les Fontenelles
The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully elegant cuvée Bergerac Moelleux from Château les Fontenelles are Sauvignon Gris and Semillon grapes. After harvesting, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Bergerac Moelleux is aged for several months in oak barrels.
