The Crémant de Loire Brut from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire shows in the glass in brilliant shimmering platinum yellow, golden yellow. The bubbles of this Crémant shimmer in the glass vital and long lasting. This French cuvée flatters in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of quince, lime, pear and lemon. It is joined by hints of yeast plait, brioche and cream candy.
This dry Crémant from Louis Despas is something for wine lovers who like it absolutely dry. The Crémant de Loire Brut is already quite close to this, as it was vinified with just 10 grams of residual sugar. Light-footed and multi-layered, this crisp and melting Crémant presents itself on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Crémant de Loire Brut flatters the palate with a soft feeling, without lacking freshness at the same time. The final of this sparkling wine from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire, more precisely from Crémant de Loire AOC, finally thrills with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the Louis Despas Crémant de Loire Brut
The elegant Crémant de Loire Brut from France is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc. The grapes for this sparkling wine from France are harvested exclusively by hand when perfectly ripe. Following the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and gently broken up. The fermentation of the base wines follows. After the assemblage of the crémants, further aging follows on the basis of classic bottle fermentation. Subsequently, the Louis Despas Crémant de Loire Brut matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
Food recommendation for the Crémant de Loire Brut from Louis Despas
