The L'Extra par Langlois Cremant de Loire Rosé from Langlois-Chateau in the French wine-growing region of Val de Loire is a fresh, lively and harmonious sparkling wine vinified from the Cabernet Franc grape variety.
In the glass, this wine glows a bright raspberry pink with sparkling hues. The perlage rises to the surface in fine, persistent strings of pearls. The nose delights in a fruity aroma play that is dominated by red berry fruits - strawberry, raspberry and red currant in particular come to the fore. On the palate, this French sparkling wine has a full-bodied body that is enclosed by a delightful freshness. The aromas of the nose are also reflected and blend perfectly into the overall fresh picture.
Vinification of Langlois-Chateau Cremant de Loire Rosé
By hand, the Cabernet Franc grapes are carefully harvested. Immediately after the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed in the Langlois-Chateau winery.
The must is fermented separately by grape variety at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Once the fermentation process is complete, the base wine for this Cremant is blended and bottled. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle (Méthode traditionnelle). On the yeast, this sparkling wine matures for about 12 months in the sandstone cellars.
Food recommendation for the Cremant de Loire Rosé from Langlois-Chateau
This sparkling wine from France is an excellent companion to desserts with red fruits. But also well chilled, this Cremant can be served as an aperitif.
