In the glass, the Prestige Rouge from Château Minuty offers a bright purple color. If you give it some air in the wine glass by swirling, you can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, because it stands out on the glass walls neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like. This French cuvée shows wonderfully expressive notes of blueberries, black currants, mulberries and morello cherries in the glass. These are joined by hints of cocoa bean, gingerbread spice and oriental spices.
On the palate, Château Minuty's Prestige Rouge opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Provence, which is well capable of aging, finally thrills with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the Prestige Rouge from Château Minuty
The balanced Prestige Rouge from France is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. The grapes for this red wine from France are harvested exclusively by hand, at the time of optimal maturity. After the harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
