Cruz de Alba - modern & elegant
For a few years now, the Ramón Bilbao winery has been quite active in Ribera del Duero. The Duero flows through this wine growing region in Castile-León which experienced rapid growth in the 1990s. It has since become one of the most well-known wine growing regions in Spain. Bilbao also purchased vineyards by Peñafiel and Roa and developed the concept of Cruz de Alba. It stands for fruity, smooth and very modern Ribera del Duero wines with a rich concentration and velvety structure. The concept proved itself popular from the very first vintage on. These wines have been very successful and have won international awards many times over.
