On the palate, the Custoza from Monte Zovo starts off wonderfully aromatic, fruity and balanced. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. The moderate fruit acidity gives the Custoza a soft mouthfeel without lacking in juicy liveliness. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Veneto wine-growing region delights with a beautiful aftertaste.
Vinification of the Monte Zovo Custoza
This elegant white wine from Italy is made from the Chardonnay, Garganega and Trebbiano grape varieties. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Custoza can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 4 months.
