Custoza DOC - Monte Zovo

In the glass, the Custoza from Monte Zovo offers a brilliantly shimmering platinum yellow color. This Italian cuvée shows wonderfully expressive notes of apples, Nashi pears, quinces and cherry blossom in the glass. There are also hints of whole nut chocolate, crunchy hazelnut and brittle.

On the palate, the Custoza from Monte Zovo starts off wonderfully aromatic, fruity and balanced. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. The moderate fruit acidity gives the Custoza a soft mouthfeel without lacking in juicy liveliness. Vinification of the Monte Zovo Custoza

This elegant white wine from Italy is made from the Chardonnay, Garganega and Trebbiano grape varieties. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Custoza can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 4 months.

This white wine from Italy is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It goes perfectly with coconut and lime fish curry, vegetable salad with beetroot or asparagus salad with quinoa.
