More information about Cuvé Rosso - Monti Pallidi

Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from the Old World presents wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, rose and plum, rounded off by further fruity nuances that are contributed by ageing in wooden barrels.

On the palate, the Cuvé Rosso from Monti Pallidi opens pleasantly dry, full-bodied and aromatic. On the palate, this light-footed red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and dense texture. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Cuvé Rosso flatters the palate with a soft sensation without lacking in juicy liveliness. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region, more precisely from Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT, is impressive with a remarkable aftertaste.

Vinification of the Monti Pallidi Cuvé Rosso

This elegant red wine from Italy is made from the Marzemino and Teroldego grape varieties. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Cuvé Rosso are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective harvesters. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by ageing for several months in large oak barrels.

Dining recommendations for the Cuvé Rosso from Monti Pallidi

This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C with stuffed peppers, spinach gratin with almonds or lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs.
