With the Sekthaus Raumland Cuvée Katharina Brut Nature, a first-class vegan sparkling wine comes into the swirling glass. It offers a wonderfully bright, light red color. The bubbles of this sparkling wine shimmer in the glass very fine bubbly and incredibly consistent. If you give it some air in the wine glass by swirling, you can perceive a perfect balance in this sparkling wine, because it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. In the glass, this sparkling wine from Sekthaus Raumland offers aromas of lemons, dried apricot and peaches, complemented by walnut. On the palate, the texture of this balanced sparkling wine is wonderfully crisp and dense. The finish of this sparkling wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen, more precisely from Flörsheim, finally thrills with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the marl-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Sekthaus Raumland Cuvée Katharina Brut Nature
The starting point for Sekthaus Raumland's first-class and wonderfully balanced Cuvée Katharina Brut Nature is Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes. In Rheinhessen, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of marl. Clearly, Cuvée Katharina Brut Nature is also defined by more than just the soil in Flörsheim. This German wine can be described in the best sense of the word as an Old World wine that is exceptionally distinguished. Following the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and gently pressed. Now follows the fermentation of the base wines. After the assemblage of the cuvée, further aging follows on the basis of the Méthode Traditionelle. Subsequently, the Sekthaus Raumland Cuvée Katharina Brut Nature matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
