The light-footed Cuveé Rose Brut from the Hammel winery glides into the glass with a brilliant light red color. The bubbles of this sparkling wine shine in the glass. The first nose of the Cuveé Rose Brut presents nuances of strawberry jam and raspberries. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by redcurrant.
This light and crisp sparkling wine is light-footed and multi-faceted on the palate. The Cuveé Rose Brut is impressively fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its concise fruit acidity. On the finish, this wine from the Palatinate wine-growing region, which ages well, finally delights with good length. Once again, there are hints of strawberry jam and raspberry. Mineral notes from the clay and sandstone-dominated soils are added in the finish.
Vinification of the Hammel Cuveé Rose Brut
The elegant Cuveé Rose Brut from the Palatinate is made from grapes from the Chardonnay and Saint Laurent varieties. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandstone and clay soils in the Palatinate. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation of the base wines. Once the cuvée has been assembled, the wine is matured further using the Méthode Traditionelle, classic bottle fermentation. The Weingut Hammel Cuveé Rose Brut then matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
