More information
The Cuvée XL penned by Kirchner from the Palatinate region reveals a dense, crimson color in the wine glass. The first nose of the Cuvée XL reveals notes of plums, blackcurrants and blackberries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by black tea, oriental spices and brown bread.
The Kirchner Cuvée XL presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. This dense red wine presents itself full-bodied and complex on the palate. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Cuvée XL reveals itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this red wine with good aging potential from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate, more precisely from Freinsheim, finally impresses with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the Cuvée XL from Kirchner
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful Cuvée Cuvée XL from Kirchner are Cabernet Dorsa, Cabernet Mitos and Merlot grapes. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation.
