More information
The Cuvéecento from the wine-growing region the Lombardy presents itself in the glass in bright light red. The perlage of this sparkling wine shines in the glass . To the nose, this Marchesi Di Montalto sparkling wine shows all sorts of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as red currant are added by the expansion in stainless steel.
Balanced and multilayered, this crisp, creamy and light sparkling wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Lombardy finally inspires with beautiful length. Again, hints of blackberry and raspberry appear. In the reverberation, mineral notes of clay and limestone dominated soils join.
Vinification of Marchesi Di Montalto Cuvéecento
The basis for the balanced Cuvéecento from Lombardy are grapes from the Pinot Noir variety. In Lombardy, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. Following the manual harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are sorted and gently pressed. Then the fermentation of the base wines takes place. After the assemblage of the cuvée follows further aging based on the Méthode Traditionelle. Subsequently, the Marchesi Di Montalto Cuvéecento matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
