The Domaine Christian Salmon is a family business in the commune of Bué in the Sancerre region. For 6 generations, the family has been running the estate, which was founded by Irénée Salmon and is now run by Armand Salmon.

The grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir for Sancerre Rouge grow here on soils of limestone and clay, as well as gravel and lime. In the winery, fermentation takes place in a modern, temperature-controlled stainless steel tank, and the components of the red Fût de Chêne are then allowed to mature in French oak barrels.
