In Languedoc-Roussillon, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off. Once the wine is finished, the Domaine de la Prade Chardonnay is carefully dealcoholized.
