Domaine de Thalabert Crozes Hermitage - Paul Jaboulet Aîné

The Domaine de Thalabert from Paul Jaboulet Aîné is a varietal, complex and versatile red wine from the French wine region Crozes Hermitage in the Northern Rhône Valley. 

This wine shows a clear, bright and deep ruby color in the glass. The nose is impressed by this top Rhône wine with a complex, expressive and varied bouquet of dark berries such as blackberries, cassis and blueberries, complemented by hints of smoky oak. On the palate, this French red wine is powerful with medium density and noble tannin structure. The palate is bursting with fruit, rounded out by a nuance of black pepper. A well-balanced, fresh finish rounds out this red wine.

Vinification of the Paul Jaboulet Aîné Domaine de Thalabert

The Domaine de Thalabert has belonged to Paul Jaboulet Aîné since 1834. The vineyards of this domaine are located on a plain and are among the oldest sites of the Crozes Hermitage appellation. 

Carefully, the Syrah grapes are harvested and immediately brought to the winery. There, the grapes are first fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation is complete, this wine rounds out harmoniously for a total of 12 months in oak barrels.
