More information
In the glass, this red wine from CVCB reveals aromas of blackberries, mulberries, plums, blackcurrants and morello cherries, complemented by oak, vanilla and toasted barrique. The Doppio Passo Primitivo Puglia can be described as exceptionally fruity and velvety, as it has been vinified with a wonderfully sweet flavor profile. The texture of this well-balanced Doppio Passo is wonderfully velvety and dense on the palate. Thanks to the moderate fruit acidity, the Doppio Passo Primitivo Puglia flatters the palate with a pleasing sensation without lacking any juicy liveliness. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Apulia wine-growing region is impressive with its considerable length. Once again, there are hints of plum and mulberry.
Vinification of the Doppio Passo Primitivo Puglia from CVCB
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Primitivo grape variety. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Doppio Passo Primitivo Puglia are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Doppio Passo Primitivo Puglia can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
