Vinification of the Durchbacher Plauelrain Riesling Old Vines by Andreas Laible
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Riesling. Only immaculate grape material was harvested for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Andreas Laible. Of course, the Durchbacher Plauelrain Riesling Alte Reben is also determined by the climate and viticultural style of Durbach. This German wine can be described as an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, presenting itself as exceptionally fragrant. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After completion of fermentation, the Durchbacher Plauelrain Riesling Alte Reben can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months....
