More information about Earthgarden Pinot Noir - Villa Maria

With the Villa Maria Earthgarden Pinot Noir comes a first-class red wine into the swirled glass. Here it reveals a wonderfully bright, light red color. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling, you can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, because it stands out on the glass walls neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like. This single varietal New Zealand wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of violets and blackberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of blueberry.

The Villa Maria Earthgarden Pinot Noir presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This red wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a premium and site wine segment. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Earthgarden Pinot Noir flatters with velvety mouthfeel, without lacking juicy liveliness. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region of New Zealand South Island finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of violets and blackberry show.

Vinification of the Earthgarden Pinot Noir from Villa Maria

This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Noir. Only the best grapes were used for this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Villa Maria. After the hand harvest, the grapes are taken to the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for the Villa Maria Earthgarden Pinot Noir

Drink this red wine from New Zealand best tempered at 15 - 18 ° C as an accompanying wine to veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes, lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs or Boeuf Bourguignon.
