The light-footed ice wine Cuvee from the house of Bauer Norbert glides into the glass with brilliant platinum yellow. Poured into a dessert wine glass, this dessert wine from the Old World offers wonderfully complex aromas of lemon, dried apricot and orange, rounded off by basil and lime.
The light-footed Bauer Norbert Ice Wines Cuvee shows us an incredibly fruity taste on the tongue, which is of course due to its residually sweet flavor profile. On the tongue, this light-bodied dessert wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety, creamy, dense and silky texture. Finally, on the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria delights with beautiful length. There are again hints of orange and dried apricot. In the reverberation, mineral notes of the clay-dominated soils join.
Vinification of the Eisweine Cuvee from Bauer Norbert
The basis for the elegant Eisweine Cuvee from Lower Austria are grapes from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Lower Austria. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the ice wine Cuvee can harmonize further for several months on the fine lees.
Supper recommendation for the Bauer Norbert Eisweine Cuvee
Enjoy this dessert wine from Austria ideally moderately chilled at 11 - 13 ° C as a companion to almond milk jelly with lychees, banana trifle in a glass or blackberry cream dessert.
