More information

The Entrecote from the Languedoc wine-growing region offers itself in the glass in a dense purple red. This French cuvée reveals in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of wild berries, plum mousse, mulberries and rum pot. This is joined by hints of other fruits.

The entrecote shows us an incredibly fruity flavor on the palate, which is not without reason due to its residual sweet profile. On the palate, the texture of this punchy red wine presents itself wonderfully velvety. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by limestone and clay.

Vinification of Les Grands Chais de France Entrecote

The basis for the powerful Entrecote from the Languedoc are grapes from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. In Languedoc, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. The grapes for this red wine from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately enter the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.

Food recommendation for the Entrecote from Les Grands Chais de France

Experience this red wine from France best tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompanying wine to Thai cucumber salad, arugula penne or lamb stew with chickpeas and of course to a nice entrecote.
