The light-footed Esprit Grand Cru from Champagne Baron-Fuenté glides into the glass with brilliant golden yellow. In the centre this champagne shows a vivid colour. To the nose, this Champagne Baron-Fuenté Champagne presents all kinds of dried fruits, prunes, raisins and fruit bread. As if this wasn't already impressive, the ageing in small wooden barrels adds further aromas such as yeast plait, forest soil and creamy candy.
Light-footed and multi-faceted, this silky champagne presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this sparkling wine from the Champagne wine growing region finally inspires with considerable length. Once again there are hints of dried fruits and prunes. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone dominated soils are added.
Vinification of the Champagne Baron-Fuenté Esprit Grand Cru
The elegant Esprit Grand Cru from France is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In Champagne, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Esprit Grand Cru is aged for 84 months in oak barriques.
Food recommendation for the Esprit Grand Cru of Champagne Baron-Fuenté
